The Dominican Republic is more than paradise views
Although the Dominican Republic is mainly associated with turquoise seas, white sand, and luxury resorts, the real lives of many locals look very different. In the shadow of tourist attractions and resorts, thousands of children face a daily struggle with poverty, violence, and loneliness.
Some are abandoned, others removed from their families by the courts due to violence, neglect, alcoholism, or simply a lack of means to survive. They end up in orphanages in a tragic physical and mental state. Many of them have never experienced real care, protection, or love.
Casa de Esperanza: The House of Hope
Fundación Casa de Esperanza is a non-profit organization based in Bávaro (Punta Cana), which provides a safe shelter for girls in crisis – victims of orphanhood, abandonment, violence, neglect, and abuse.
Thanks to the daily work of caregivers, the foundation not only gives the children a roof over their heads but also provides:
- education and school activities,
- psychological and spiritual therapy,
- medical support,
- artistic activities and emotional development,
- daily meals and 24/7 care,
- a sense of security and belonging.
It is a place where girls learn to trust adults and believe in themselves again.

This year, we have shown that together we create the magic of the holidays — real, heartfelt, and full of empathy and support for those who need it most. We help because we are grateful
Our company, SUVCar4Rent, cooperates with the foundation and regularly supports it – we donate food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, and financial aid. We visit the children's home, spend time with the girls, and bring them smiles, warmth, and attention they deeply need. We believe that since we are fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful country as the Dominican Republic, it is our duty to give back. We help because we are grateful. We help because we know that even the smallest gesture can bring meaningful change.
